“Uncompromising design and a unique balance of luxury and excitement.” This is how they describe the new supercar from McLaren and we took this description of the 650S as our inspiration and and translated it into this promotional film.

McLaren loaned us the car for the day which we shot in a studio with a moving lighting rig, a model and plenty of car polish.
We then modelled the car in 3D and set it within a futuristic cityscape environment to create an an atmospheric setting and a striking cinematic film-noir visual style.

With sweeping and epic camera moves, moody edge lighting and a contemporary environment the film evokes all the best qualities associated with a brand as acclaimed and illustrious as McLaren.
